Ron Baines has been involved with amateur football for 50 years now.

Sure, there's a bit of salt in that famous beard now but the love of football and his passion for helping young men is as strong as ever. The head coach and owner of the Pierce County Bengals began his career in amateur football as a player/coach in 1973. After his playing days ended, Baines took over as owner and general manager. If you follow football in Pierce County you know Baines. Baines was a star at Lincoln High School and went on to success as a receiver at the University of Montana. He was a 10th-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in 1969.
